Help
Every page of this site, this one included, carries links to five independent gambling-help organisations: BeGambleAware, Gamble Aware, Gambling Therapy, G GamCare Gambling Support: Starts Here, and NCPG. You will find them in the links set out on each page of this build, including this one. Each is an independent source of help, separate from this site and from any operator mentioned here.
These are the only outbound links on the whole site that are not commercial. Unlike the operator links, they carry no sponsored marking. They are set to nofollow, and they open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when a reader follows them. The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout this build, front page included. If you are under eighteen, the operator links here are not for you.
Habits
Gambling stays manageable when the decisions are made before play starts rather than during it. In the moment, wins and losses distort judgement, so the useful rules are the ones you settle while calm.
- Decide the amount before starting. A figure chosen in advance cannot be renegotiated by a winning streak or a near miss.
- Treat it as spent. If the money is mentally gone the moment you set it aside, anything that comes back is a bonus. A loss then feels like the cost of an evening, not a debt to recover.
- Never chase a loss. Each outcome is independent, so a bigger stake to win back what is gone only enlarges the next possible loss. Chasing is how a small, planned amount turns into a large, unplanned one.
- Keep gambling out of borrowed money. Credit, loans or money meant for bills add interest and pressure. Pressure pushes people toward the chasing described above.
- Take breaks. Time away resets your sense of how long you have played and how much has gone, both of which blur during continuous play.
- Involve someone else early. When it stops being entertainment, a person you trust sees patterns you may explain away. Talking before the problem grows keeps more options open.
Limits
Controls such as deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods or self-exclusion belong to an operator account. You arrange them yourself inside your account at the destination. This build has no account, no form and no server-side application. Nothing published here can switch one on, check one or enforce one.
Nobody's age is verified on this site, and no gambling takes place on it. Any check of that kind happens at the destination. No advertising or behavioural profiling network is present in these pages, so nothing here is targeted at a reader who has shown risky behaviour. The only visit data recorded is a minimal traffic count of page views and outbound clicks, without cookies or persistent identifiers.
If you want to stop, this site cannot do it for you. Use the controls in your own account at the operator, and follow the help links above.
